Brian Gavan, M.D. is originally from Phoenix, AZ.  He attended Arizona State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition. Dr. Gavan obtained his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences on St. Kitts and Nevis.  He moved to Mobile for his Pediatric residency at the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital.  During residency, he fell in love with Mobile and spent an extra year at the University of South Alabama as Chief Medical Resident.  Following his Chief year he signed on as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at USA.
