Accordia Health is governed by a board of directors that includes our patients who are representatives of the population we serve. The board is responsible for overseeing the coordination and development of primary care for the communities it serves. It also provides consultation regarding program development and funding. Accordia Health is the primary care arm of AltaPointe Health, Alabama’s largest health and human services organization that provides mental and primary healthcare, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse services to more than 34,000 people across seven counties in Alabama each year, including Baldwin, Clay, Coosa, Mobile, Randolph, Talladega, and Washington.
